Installation created for *new* Gallery’s themed ‘Green’ exhibit. I created a Digital Hive. Inviting guests to peer up, inside of the hive while wearing headphones. Guests were then invited to take a card from the envelope. Scratching and sniffing the scent cards while looking within the Digital Hive might evoke memories of walking within a forest, perhaps what it might be like to live within a hive. 

The Digital Hive was built using fibreglass, bees wax, pigments, synthetic wool. The video was looped through a hunting/trail camera. Scent (scratch n sniff) cards were printed out and various essential oil and absolutes were combined to create custom ‘memories’.
